H.J.R. 114 was the house resolution authorizing the war in Iraq. it passed by a simple majority in both houses; 296-133 in the house and 77-23 in the senate.

@Dayman881 Actually we declared war on Iraq very shortly after 9/11. Vietnam was never technically a war for us, and the reason so many men died is because Congress was controlling them and wouldn’t let the generals do their job, that’s the only reason so many of the men died and very few of the men even wanted to be there. So no, they wouldn’t be disgusted by what I wrote, it was a massacre, not a war dumbass.

@Dayman881 actually there were official declarations of war for both Afghanistan and Iraq. hillary clinton voted yes for both and obama voted yes for Afghanistan and no for Iraq. the vote for war against Afghanistan was nearly unanimous in the senate, the vote for war in Iraq was a majority.
